Joe Ashlar has just been confirmed on the 2013 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for May 2nd, 2013 in the WWOZ Jazz Tent! This performance will be part of the annual Woodshed series, which focuses on a different instrument each year. The instrument of choice this year is none other than Joe’s favorite, the Hammond B3! Joe will team up with fellow organist Kyle Roussel and a lineup of New Orleans musicians (to be determined) for a set of jazz, funk, gospel and soul. This is one performance not to be missed!
